My passion is working with children and adolescents who feel isolated, misunderstood, angry, anxious, depressed, and stressed about developmental changes. In session, I provide a place for my clients to gain hands on experience and new ways of dealing with the negative feelings or behaviors they are experiencing. Depending on the need of the client, I utilize play therapy, art, music, journaling, sand tray, and adventure-based counseling techniques. My counseling approach is rooted in person-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused theories.
